Any dog who has not visited us in the last six months must do a retrial to ensure their comfort and safety in our evolving and dynamic daycare environment. Our daycare is continuously growing with new team members and new dogs.

All of our packages are non refundable , non transferable and have an expiration date of six months from the date of purchase.

Yes! As well as being a group of committed dog lovers, our team all have some previous experience of working with dogs. From May 22nd 2024 all of our staff will be fully certified in Pet First Aid, provided by Walks n Wags Dog trainers.

Yes! We provide two short daily walks. We kindly ask that you still give your dog the opportunity to toilet before dropping them off, as depending on the staff and dog numbers that day, they may need to wait a bit before we can bring them to the grass.

Yes! We have 3 large rooms, one side of the daycare is divided into 2 rooms for the big dogs, and the other for the small dogs only.

Yes ! We feed lunches at 11am and each dog is fed in a separate area, and given down time afterwards to give them time to properly digest their lunch and avoid bloating. We ask that you please bring your dogs lunch in a labeled container.

Yes we take puppies but they must be vaccinated with Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies and must be fixed by 7 months of age.

If your dog is experiencing symptoms such as coughing, diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy or limping please do not bring them to daycare. If dog’s begin to show symptoms during daycare, we will contact you to let you know and ask for an early pick up, to ensure the safety of your dog as well as the other dogs.

If your dog has already passed their trial day and is settled into our daycare, yes absolutely! All you need to do is drop your dog off at the daycare and we will bring them to and from their grooming appointment. We also offer a $20 daycare special for any dogs getting a full grooming service!

Yes, we kindly ask that you book online through paws admin, or give us a call. This helps us to better prepare for the day ahead and to know who we are expecting in daycare that day.

We require all dogs to be fixed once they reach 7 months, in order to attend our daycare. This policy is in place as dogs who are not fixed generally do not do well in an environment where the other dogs are, and often become the center of attention in a pack setting. We want every dog to be comfortable and happy in our care, therefore this policy is non negotiable. Puppies can come unfixed up to seven months, but if the other dogs begin to react to them or they are showing stereotypical behaviours, we will ask you to take a break until your dog has been fixed.

Going straight from a 3 hour assessment to a 8-10 hour day can be extremely overwhelming for a new dog. Half days (five hours or less) and our hourly drop ins are designed to slowly integrate your dog into their regular daycare schedule.

All dogs must do at least one - two half days after their initial trial, and then our experienced staff will then advise you on what would be best going forward. Some dogs are only able to do half days as anything longer can be tiring and/or overstimulating which can result in negative behaviors. Our team will always try our best to work towards full days with your dog, but there is no guarantee that they will be ready for full days.

Yes, The $15 fee is to cover the time put in to schedule the dog and run the trial assessment itself.

We are a positive reinforcement daycare, and as a team we do our best to manage the environment to set every dog up to succeed. We work this by separating play groups, implementing ‘down time’ for dogs who are overstimulated and using treats to redirect and modify behaviour.

There are certain behaviours that are simply triggered by the environment itself and as a daycare running with up to 40 dogs daily, there are cases where the best solution is to take a break or in some cases remove the dog from the environment. This decision is never taken lightly but our ultimate goal is the safety and wellbeing of every dog in our care.

We pride ourselves on being 100% transparent with dog owners about their dogs behaviours and progress in daycare, so we in turn appreciate your cooperation and understanding in these circumstances.

We use the three dog bakery peanut butter and also the cheese flavoured cookies. Ingredients are:

1. Peanut Butter Cookies: Wheat Flour, Canola Oil, Peanut Butter, Peanut Flour, Dried Cane Molasses, Dried Whole Egg, Citric Acid (Preservative), Mixed Tocopherols (Preservative), Rosemary Extract (Preservative).

2. Cheese Flavoured Cookies: Wheat Flour, Canola Oil, Dried Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Beta Carotene (Color), Citric Acid (Preservative), Mixed Tocopherols (Preservative), Rosemary Extract (Preservative).

If your dog has any allergies we should be aware of, please make sure it’s included on the intake form and we will make a note on their file. If your dog has allergies or their own special treats we recommend bringing some to daycare with you so they don’t miss out on treat time!

There is no guarantee your dog will get into our daycare. Even if your dog is well socialized, they may not be a fit with our existing play group. For others, a daycare environment can be an overwhelming and unfamiliar experience. Not every dog is a daycare dog, and it is also not a place to socialize an under-socialized dog. While we wish we could take care of every dog we meet, our goal is always to ensure that every dog is safe and comfortable in our care. This means that unfortunately we cannot accept every single dog , but we will always be 100% honest about your dog's behaviours, and try our best to accommodate you and your furry friend!

No. As we are a positive reinforcement daycare, we do not allow use of aversive tools such as bark/shock/e-collars, prong collars, choke chains or slip leads. Any of these tools will be removed at drop off and replaced with one of our own soft nylon collars until pick up time.
